Motto

A Bible verse I think the Young Tribulation Force might have as a motto would be 1 Timothy 4:12 which says:

"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."

As for the Tribulation Force (adults), their official motto is:

"We don't do luck"

Growing Up

When the authors of Left Behind: The Kids were writing the books, they originally had in mind that the book series would be for teenagers and young adults. Specifically 12-14 years old. But now the series is being read by many adults as well!

Speaking of "Teens to Adults," Judd, Vicki, Lionel, and Ryan would all be adults by the end of the Tribulation. If all of them make it through the whole Tribulation, their ages would go as follows:

Judd - 16 - 23
Vicki - 14 - 21
Lionel - 13 - 20
Ryan - 12 - 19

It's hard to imagine them all being adults by the end of the series!

Movie Changes

Who has seen the movie for the adult series of Left Behind? There are three movies: "Left Behind: The Movie", "Left Behind II: Tribulation Force", "Left Behind: World at War".

A fellow blogger who is a big fan of the adult series wrote a short article on the changes made from the books to the movies. With the remake of "Left Behind: The Movie" in the making, there are bound to be changes from the book series in the new movie as well. Here are some of the most noticeable changes:

"First Movie-  In the Books, Buck writes for a magazine, but in the movies he is a newscaster. Another change is the meeting of Buck with Chloe and Ray.  In the books, Buck and Hattie never knew each other before the Rapture, but in the movies they did. In the movie, Ray kisses Hattie, but in the book that does not happen. Some other small changes ( including character appearances).

"Second Movie- Change of Ivy`s name ( in books she is Alice and is replacing Lucinda`s assistant.) In the movie, Ivy gets saved, but in the books she does not. The scene where Ray and Buck leave does not happen in the books, they leave at separate times for Israel. And when that scene does happen, Chloe says " Feel Like a cookie?" And Buck says " Why do i look like one?" While that does happen, it happens in the first book, when they first meet.

"Third movie- While many get sick, the Bibles ate not poisoned in the books. Bruce himself, in the books, is poisoned by Nicolae. Chloe doe not get sick in the book. After their wedding, Chloe and Buck do not disperse in the book. And the parts with the President do happen in the books, but not that detailed. He does not get saved in the books."

Tsion Ben-Judah

Here are some fun facts about Tsion Ben-Judah:

  • He has a wife and two children, who Judd meets while in Israel.
  • He is a former student of Chaim Rosenzweig.
  • He believed in Judism before the Rapture, but after hearing the prophets Eli and Moishe speak, he became saved and spread the Gospel all over the world.
  • Chaya Steins mother heard Dr. Ben-Judah speak on the television, and soon after accepted Jesus into her heart.
  • He is one of the 144,000 witnesses.

Tsion Ben-Judah Trivia Question:

What was Tsion's occupation before the Rapture?
