Eli and Moishe

Here is another scene from Left Behind II: Tribulation Force. In this scene Buck Williams is taking Tsion Ben-Judah to visit the Wailing Wall where Eli and Moishe are speaking. As the two prophets speak at the Wailing Wall Buck understands the words in English, while Tsion Ben-Judah understands the words the prophets are speaking in Hebrew. In Revelation 11 the Bible talks about two prophets that speak on earth during the Rapture. Many believe it will be the heavenly beings of Elijah and Moses. The writers Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins named them Eli and Moishe. If anyone tries to hurt the two prophets they will be killed. They have the power to shoot fire from their mouths and devour anyone who tries to hurt them with the flames. The Bible says the two prophets will be on earth for 1,260 days, or about 3.5 years. In the book series they die just before Nicolae Carpathia is killed. After 3.5 days God will resurrect the bodies of the prophets and they will ascend to Heaven. After that an earthquake will come and 1/10 of Jerusalem will be destroyed.
