Bruce Barnes

Bruce Barnes is in both Left Behind and Left Behind: The Kids. Although he has a large role in Left Behind: The Kids, he is not one of the four main characters. In Left Behind Bruce is one of the original members of the Tribulation Force, and has a larger role in the series. With Bruce being a bigger character in the adult series, those who read that series will know more about him. Just like my friend and fellow blogger! She runs the blog, Left Behind and is an avid Left Behind reader. Here is a short summery about Bruce Barnes, one of my personal favorite characters.

 

 

"Bruce Barnes, assistant pastor at New Hope Village Church, in Mount Prospect, looked at it all as a story. It was more like head-knowledge to him. He never acted on the truth he told others. His wife, and three children, ages of 5, 3, and 1, didn't know the wiser. One night he was up to late reading, his wife asking him to turn off the light, when everything and everyone he knew disappeared.... all of his family and most of the church was gone. He immediately repented, and became a real Christian."
